The Financial Analyst will be part of the Cost Accounting team and assist the Cost Accounting Director in reviewing the company's financial statements, documents, data, and accounting entries. This position gathers information from the company's financial reporting systems, account balances, cash flow statements, income statements, balance sheets, and internal control systems.

Duties:

• Data Analysis: Review past and current financial data, income statements, and business performance metrics.
• Forecasting & Modeling: Build financial models in Excel to project future revenues, expenses, and operational outcomes.
• Variance Reporting: Compare actual financial results against established budgets and forecasts to explain discrepancies.
• Strategic Advice: Deliver actionable recommendations to senior management to improve profitability and minimize financial risk
