Job summary

Tierra Verdosa Services, Corp. is seeking a Finance Analyst to review current and past financial data, prepare reports and projections, and evaluate capital expenditures to support decision making.

The role requires strong Excel skills, SAP background, and the ability to work both independently and within a team in a dynamic business environment in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accountancy, CPA is a plus, and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is required or equivalent.
• CPA license is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word; SAP or similar finance software experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts, check discrepancies if any, and provide resolutions immediately.
• Prepare and review assigned schedules in a timely manner to support financial reports either monthly, quarterly, or annually as needed to analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accurate posting of financial information and proposing corrections to general ledger, as necessary.
• Support the annual audit process by preparing relevant schedules and documentation.
• Prepares ad hoc reports and analyses as required.
• Perform in-depth analysis of financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Monthly financial statement variance analysis and accruals.
• Prepare reconciliations for a number of general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with SMC closing schedules and submit all required reports.
• Streamlines accounting and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

The Finance Analyst is tasked to analyze current and past financial data and performance, prepare reports and projections based on analysis, evaluate current capital expenditures, identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts, check discrepancies if any, and provide resolutions immediately.

• Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage

• Knowledgeable in using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and with background in finance software, preferably SAP

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Well-organized with excellent time management skills
