Job summary

Belo Medical Group is seeking an Accounting AI Intern to join the finance team and help modernize accounting processes through AI and automation. The role blends foundational accounting with data analytics to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

You will assist in automating reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting, while gaining hands-on experience with AI-driven tools and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong interest in AI, automation, and digital transformation in finance.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Python, or similar tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying opportunities to automate accounting processes such as reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Support the implementation and testing of AI-driven tools for finance and accounting workflows
• Analyze financial data using AI and analytics tools to generate insights and support decision-making
• Document existing accounting processes and recommend improvements through automation and AI solutions
• Assist in developing dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
• Support data cleaning, validation, and preparation for analytics and AI applications
• Collaborate with accounting and IT teams on system enhancements and integrations
• Research emerging AI tools, trends, and best practices relevant to finance and accounting
• Provide support during month-end and year-end closing activities as needed
