Job summary

Lawson Philippines Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to support store openings and closures, conduct on-site surveys, and coordinate broadband deployments across multiple locations.

You will perform site assessments, identify cabling routes, and ensure reliable network connectivity. The role covers operations, fault troubleshooting, and VPN validation with vendors and contractors, requires travel and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/CE or related field.
• 1-2 years experience in network implementation, field engineering, technical support, or IT infrastructure operations.
• Experience in retail, branch, or multi-site environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, and wireless networking.
• Willing to travel frequently to store locations nationwide.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekend and after-office hours during store openings and critical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Store Opening and Closure Support.
• Site Survey and Infrastructure Assessment: conduct on-site inspections and assess network requirements.
• Identify cabling routes, equipment placement, and connectivity requirements.
• Network Deployment and Implementation: coordinate broadband circuit installation, activation, and testing with ISPs.
• Operations and Technical Support: troubleshoot internet, LAN, WAN, wireless, and hardware incidents.
• Network Security and Maintenance: support VPN configuration and connectivity validation.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management: coordinate with ISPs, contractors, mall administrators, and external vendors.
