General Description
The Field Director is the second highest ranked individual in the organization of Hope Mountain Foundation‑Phils Inc. The Field Director is responsible for ensuring each functional area (Programs, Education, Administration) is functioning properly and meeting the goals and objectives established by the Board of Directors.
The primary staff reporting to the Field Director include the Supervising Social Worker (Program Director), the Lead Teacher (Education Director), and the Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant.
The Field Director reports to the Executive Director.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work from an accredited university.
- Licensed Social Worker in the Philippines.
- Fluent in oral and written communication in English, Tagalog, and Bisaya.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work well in stressful situations.
- Compassion for child victims of abuse and exploitation.
- Trained in Trauma‑Informed‑Care.
- Experience working for an NGO.
- Experience working with the DSWD.
- Experience working in a residential care facility.
- Experience managing staff.
- Computer literate with strong experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities
- The Field Director’s primary responsibilities include ensuring the Ministry of Hope Mountain Foundation‑Phils Inc. is meeting the goals established by the Board of Directors.
- Preparing an annual report to be submitted to the Board of Directors.
- Preparing the annual report to the DSWD.
- Providing direct supervision to the Supervising Social Worker (Program Director), the Lead Teacher (Education Director), and the Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. Ensuring that each of these staff members has all the resources needed to successfully carry out their roles and responsibilities. Evaluating the performance of each of these staff members and encouraging each staff member to practice healthy self‑care.
- Withdrawing funds from the Hope Mountain Center bank accounts to pay operational expenses and salaries.
- Handling Human Resources (HR) at Hope Mountain Center.
- Attending ABSNET meetings and serving as the primary point of contact with the Standards Unit of the DSWD.
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with partner organizations located in the Philippines.
- Leading regular meetings of the senior staff of Hope Mountain Foundation‑Phils Inc.
