Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Biomedical Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment at customer sites. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and according to manufacturer specifications.

Key duties include installation, testing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and clear service reporting. Travel to client sites is required; strong communication helps explain technical details to non-technical users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering (ECE) or Electrical Engineering (EE).
• Experience servicing, installing or maintaining medical or laboratory equipment is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Able to prepare clear service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing and able to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission medical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibration, and functional testing per manufacturer guidance.
• Diagnose equipment faults and coordinate repairs with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Respond to customer service requests and provide progress updates.
• Train customers on equipment operation, basic care, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment records.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, setup, warranty claims, and service requirements with internal teams and suppliers.
• Support product demonstrations, evaluations, and technical discussions with customers.
• Follow safety procedures and equipment-handling requirements.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
