Job summary

ACCIONA in the Philippines is seeking a Project Officer – Community Development to lead community engagement, field logistics, and installations for Solar Home Systems. The role requires strong coordination with local governments, NGOs, and partners to ensure timely, quality project delivery.

The candidate should have 4.5+ years in community development, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in English. Travel to remote areas and strong reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 4.5 years of professional experience in community development, community organizing, stakeholder management and sustainable development.
• Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Engineering, Project Management, social sciences, or a related field.
• Strong project implementation, monitoring, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in remote and field-based environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct community engagement activities, including consultations, meetings, trainings, workshops, and stakeholder coordination.
• Support receipt, inventory, and safekeeping of project equipment and field logistics.
• Coordinate logistical requirements for transport, distribution, and installation of Solar Home Systems (SHS).
• Assist in identification, assessment, design, and procurement of installation infrastructure and related project needs.
• Support onboarding of a local entrepreneur for the Users Assistance Center and provide ongoing support.
