Job summary

onsemi in Carmona, Cavite seeks a skilled FA technician to support package evaluations and basic failure analysis services. You will work with optical microscopy, SEM/EDX, X-ray and related inspection tools to assist production and customers.

The role emphasizes careful sample prep, data gathering, and cross-functional teamwork. The ideal candidate is a technical graduate with hands-on FA tool experience, good communication, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical course.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Able to operate optical microscope, SEM, SAT, X-ray and other failure analysis inspection tools.
• Good communication skills and computer literacy (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled support on package-related evaluations using FA visual inspection tools.
• Provide basic support/services to internal and external customers (X-ray, SAT, SEM/EDX, macro and micro inspection).
• Prepare samples for ATE verification and ensure proper handling.
• Assist FA personnel with administrative tasks and maintain wet-lab housekeeping.

Job Description

Responsible in rendering skill-based support and basic FA support services to production’s maverick lots, reliability monitoring, DPA evaluations, qualifications and customer returns.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled support on package related evaluations using FA visual and electron microscopy inspection tools.
• Provide basic support/services to both internal and external customer; like X-ray, SAT, SEM/EDX, macro and micro inspection, and micro-sectioning.
• Performs sample preparation and cleaning to make sure the returned sample from the customer is fit for ATE verification.
• Assists FA personnel in administrative tasks like general store supplies.
• Conducts periodic housekeeping in the area especially at the wet lab.

Qualifications

• Education / Experience
  • Graduate of a Technical course.
  • Preferred with at least 2 yrs experience in semiconductor manufacturing process
• Skills
  • Possess basic analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience in working with optical microscope, SEM, SAT, X-ray, and other failure analysis inspection tools.
  • Has acceptable communication skill
  • Computer knowledge with skills in usage of MS OFFICE.
