Job summary

Savills Philippines, a leading real estate solutions provider, seeks a Facilities Technician to join our Ortigas operations. You will monitor contractors, perform routine maintenance, inspect safety, and support energy-saving efforts to keep facilities reliable on-site.

On-site work 6 days a week, you will coordinate with vendors, review permits, and uphold ISO 9001:2015 standards while implementing improvements to facility systems and asset protection.

Qualifications

• Vocational diploma or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance/repair experience in buildings and facilities management.
• Willing to work on-site 6 days a week.
• Willing to do field work/site visitations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of contractors and vendors delivering services on-site.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent major issues and extend equipment lifespan.
• Identify and address health and safety hazards; ensure safe use of facilities and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and scheduled maintenance routines.
• Perform minor repairs such as patching, painting, and hardware fixes, and general upkeep of the building and grounds.
• Maintain and repair building systems and equipment for optimal operation.
• Provide observations and suggestions for the improvement of facility systems and equipment.
• Conduct technical and safety audits of managed properties and recommend action plans based on findings.
• Assist in managing inventory levels of technical supplies, ensuring the availability of essential items.
• Review building permits, including gate passes and work access permits.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers for smooth facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; organize regular safety audits and training programs.
• Identify, assess, and help mitigate risks to protect facility assets and staff.
• Support energy-saving efforts by assisting in monitoring and optimizing energy consumption.
• Submit technical reports to the immediate head and ensure adherence to technical checklists.
• Ensure all documents and records follow ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Recommend improvements to streamline facilities management operations and enhance service.
• Participate in company trainings, meetings, seminars, and other corporate activities.

Job Qualifications

• At least a vocational diploma/short course certificate or a bachelor's/college degree.
• At least 1 year of experience as an employee specialized in Maintenance and repair in building and facilities management.
