II-VI Performance Metals, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Engineer (Mechanical) for its Optical Solutions Plant in Cavite.

The role focuses on design, modification, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems to support manufacturing, troubleshooting issues, and driving reliability improvements in a cleanroom environment. You will collaborate with electrical, civil, and R&D teams, lead preventive maintenance programs, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and prepare technical reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with PRC license.
• 4-6 years hands-on experience in facilities or mechanical engineering, preferably in semiconductor/electronics environments.
• Experience with maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of cleanroom standards (ISO, SEMI).
• Experience with quality and sustainability management systems; knowledge of ASHRAE/NFPA/OSHA codes.
• Experience with project management or leading small-medium projects; strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mechanical systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental laws (ASHRAE, NFPA, OSHA).
• Develop and oversee preventive/predictive maintenance programs to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, civil, structural, R&D) on facility projects.
• Prepare technical reports, specs, and scope of work for repairs and installations.
• Manage external contractors and service providers to ensure quality and EHS standards.
• Monitor department budget for mechanical systems maintenance and projects.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and modifications; prepare reports for audits.
