Job summary

You will cut and engrave boards and acrylic (3mm–5mm) with precision, check CAD/STL files for issues, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and ensure lab safety and orderly materials. This in-person role involves guiding students on material choices and machine settings, supporting

Qualifications

• Vocational or Undergraduate College degree.
• TESDA Digital Fabrication Machine Operation Level II or III certificate.
• Familiarity with slicing software and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, or Adobe Illustrator).
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues or file errors during the fabrication process.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain 3D printers and laser cutters, keeping student and faculty projects moving.
• Cut and engrave boards, wood, and acrylic (3mm–5mm) with precision.
• Check CAD/STL files before each job to catch issues early.
• Keep the lab's materials organized and equipment running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot problems and handle routine maintenance.
• Guide students on material choices, machine settings, and what's possible.
• Support faculty-led workshops and lab demos.
• Keep the lab safe by enforcing OSH standards.
