Job summary

Bureau Veritas S.A. is hiring a WTG Inspector (GWO certified) to conduct inspections and maintenance on wind turbine generators in Laguna, Calabarzon.

The role requires field-based work in the mining, resources and energy sector and a solid technical background in wind turbine systems. You will perform comprehensive inspections, identify issues, and provide detailed reports while collaborating with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a WTG inspector or similar in mining, resources and energy
• GWO certification (Global Wind Organisation)
• Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine generator systems and components
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking to identify and resolve issues
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good written and verbal communication for inspection reports
• Willingness to work in field-based environment and adhere to safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of wind turbine generators to ensure safe, efficient operation
• Identify and report mechanical, electrical or structural issues in WTGs

About the role

As a WTG Inspector (with GWO Certification) at Bureau Veritas S.A., you will be responsible for conducting inspections and maintenance on wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Laguna, Calabarzon. This is a full-time position that requires expertise in the mining, resources and energy sector, specifically in wind turbine engineering and maintenance.

What youll be doing

1. Conducting comprehensive inspections of wind turbine generators to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
2. Identifying and reporting any mechanical, electrical or structural issues with the WTGs
3. Performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating components, replacing worn parts and cleaning turbine blades
4. Providing detailed inspection reports and recommendations for remedial work
5. Collaborating with the engineering and maintenance teams to address any identified problems
6. Adhering to all health, safety and environmental protocols

What were looking for

1. Minimum 2 years experience as a WTG inspector or in a similar role within the mining, resources and energy sector
2. Possession of a valid Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certification
3. Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine generator systems and components
4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
6. Good written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed inspection reports
7. Willingness to work in a field-based environment and adhere to safety protocols
