Job summary

Autokid Subic Trading Corporation is seeking a Welder responsible for high-quality welding, fabrication, and repair of metal parts in adherence to company standards and safety rules. You will read technical drawings, prepare materials, operate welding equipment, and ensure finished work is neat, strong, and compliant.

Key tasks include welding with SMAW, MIG, TIG, reading blueprints, measuring and fitting metals, and maintaining equipment, with potential overtime, field work, and weekend shifts

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate.
• TESDA or vocational training in Welding is a plus.
• TESDA SMAW NC II (SMAW NC III is better).
• Has 1-2 years welding and fabrication experience.
• Able to read fabrication drawings and use measuring tools.
• Physically strong and able to lift heavy materials.
• Willing to work overtime, field work, and weekends/holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using SMAW, MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), or other processes as needed.
• Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Prepare, cut, measure, and fit metals before welding.
• Ensure welded joints are sound, strong, and meet quality standards.
• Repair damaged metal parts and structures.
• Operate welding machine, grinder, cutting torch, and other fabrication tools safely.
• Keep welding equipment in good condition.
• Follow all safety policies and proper PPE usage.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with supervisor and team to finish tasks on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
