Outsourced Quality Assured Services Inc. (ISO Certified) in the Philippines is seeking an Estate Planning Paralegal to manage a high-volume estate planning caseload from home.
You will draft and finalize estate planning documents, including revocable living trusts, pour-over wills, durable powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, HIPAA authorizations, grant deeds, and business assignment documents, using the firm’s templates and standards.
Under the direction of the firm’s attorneys and Lead Paralegal, the Estate Planning Paralegal is responsible for preparing high-quality, accurate estate planning documents while effectively managing an individual caseload. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
The ideal candidate is committed to producing comprehensive, error-free estate planning documents, including revocable living trusts, pour-over wills, durable powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, HIPAA authorizations, grant deeds, and business assignment documents. The paralegal must also be comfortable drafting documents using the firm’s preferred templates, language, and drafting standards.
The Estate Planning Paralegal reports directly to the assigned attorneys and the Lead Paralegal. Employment and overall performance management are overseen by the firm’s Founding Attorneys.
Draft estate planning documents using WealthCounsel and the firm’s preferred drafting standards.
Prepare grant deeds and related real property transfer documents.
Draft business assignment documents after reviewing business operating agreements.
Independently manage a high-volume estate planning caseload while meeting established deadlines.
Revise and update estate planning documents based on attorney or Lead Paralegal feedback.
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality across all drafted legal documents.
Review new estate planning assignments and prioritize workload accordingly.
Prepare estate planning document drafts.
Draft deeds, business assignments, and other funding-related documents.
Revise documents as directed by attorneys or the Lead Paralegal.
Provide progress updates to the Lead Paralegal and assigned attorneys regarding active matters.
Minimum of 3 years of experience drafting estate planning documents.
Experience using legal drafting software.
Strong drafting, proofreading, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage a high-volume workload while meeting deadlines.
Experience using WealthCounsel.
Experience in Probate and Trust Administration.
Success in this role will be measured by the ability to:
Complete estate planning drafts within one week of the matter being designated as “Ready to Draft.”
Respond to all internal communications within 24 business hours.
Keep attorneys and the Lead Paralegal informed of work progress and case status.
Produce accurate, high-quality legal documents with minimal revisions or errors.
Record 100% of billable and non-billable time entries in Clio by the end of each business day.
