Job summary

SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an ESH Lead to oversee environmental, safety, health, and sustainability compliance across the plant, ensuring global standards while meeting local regulatory mandates. You will drive risk assessments, audits, and incident prevention, mentoring Safety Officers and coordinating with government inspectors and CSR initiatives in Bunawan District.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in EHS/ESG and professional certifications (Safety Practitioner/PCO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in EHS/ESG roles.
• Accredited Safety Practitioner / Safety Officer 3 or 4 under DOLE; PCO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee standards & audits for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 17025 and UKCARES; keep IMS documentation audit-ready.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine regulatory bodies (DENR, DOLE, LGU, BFP, NWRB) and timely statutory reporting.
• Drive risk assessments, emergency preparedness, and health and safety programs; mentor Safety Officers and PCOs.
• Track ESG metrics (GHG, waste, water, energy) to anchor Sustainability Report per SEC requirements.
• Represent the organization during government inspections and community CSR initiatives in Bunawan District.
