Job summary

MERALCO is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator in Bulacan to perform operational tasks following set policies and procedures. You will operate cranes, derrick/hiab, and related equipment, move poles, and prepare equipment and documentation for job sites.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid professional driver’s license (codes 2 and 3), and at least 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment. The role emphasizes safety and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a High School Graduate (2017 and below / Alternative Learning System) or Senior High School Graduate (2018 and up).
• Must have a professional Driver's license with restriction code 2 and 3.
• With at least 5 years of work experience as a heavy equipment operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maneuver cranes, derrick/hiab trucks, puller/winder and tensioner in accordance with equipment's safe working limit, to accomplish assigned tasks: “Hot” pole erection, Replacement of defective transformer, Line reconductoring.
• Prepare specially-equipped vehicles and towed equipment for operation.
• Perform truck cleaning and BEWAGONS, to include actual operational check of the equipment.
• Perform greasing and check-up of control levers, pedals, hydraulic hoses/fittings.
• Operate cranes, derrick/ hiab, engine- driven hydraulic equipment, puller winder and tensioner: Load and unload poles at Stores Pole Yard and at job site, Perform equipment grounding, Guide co-operator using rigging signals while operating the equipment.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to operation of specially-equipped vehicles and towed equipment.

• Management of tools and work equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES
