You will oversee the operation, repair, and maintenance of production equipment and lead a team of technicians. What you’ll do:

The Equipment and Maintenance Supervisor will provide expertise in the operation, repair, maintenance, and improvement of various production and machine shop equipment. Additionally, they will serve as the SME for tooling and fixture design and fabrication. Beyond technical responsibilities, this role includes managing all technicians to ensure timely and effective support for manufacturing operations. They will also oversee the availability and functionality of equipment, tooling, and fixtures required by manufacturing.

  • Responsible for implementing automation projects aimed at improving productivity and achieving cost savings.
  • Develop and implement a plan to enhance Technician skills and competencies.
  • Identify and implement safety improvements in machine guarding and workplace organization, including manufacturing floor layout.
  • Perform fixes on production equipment and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement permanent fixes and improvements on manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures to ensure regular availability to support manufacturing. This includes standard work for maintenance activities.
  • Plan and execute automation projects to improve safety, productivity, and other valuable cost‑out opportunities.
  • Budget MRO spending and identify opportunities to reduce cost and usage.
  • Develop local suppliers to fabricate required fixtures, fix existing equipment with competent capability and cost.
  • Manage, plan and develop technician and engineer technical skill and competency build‑up.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to define and implement improvement actions to address safety, quality, productivity and cost opportunities. Cross‑functional team includes other site personnel (SV CHN).
  • Perform other duties as required and within competency level.
Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or any related engineering course.
  • Above 15 years of experience in engineering, working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Very strong technical competency and skill in mechanical, electrical, and civil works.
  • Excellent problem‑solving capability.
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, including other country team members.
  • Computer‑application competent, including MS Office and CAD.
  • Prior knowledge and experience in soldering processes.
  • Critical technical ability to resolve equipment and fixture issues that no other organization member can perform.
  • Takes initiative and calculates risk, with contingency plans to resolve issues until resolved.
  • Multi‑tasking ability and ability to delegate issues accordingly.
  • Takes time to train peers and subordinates to adopt some of his technical skills and competencies.
  • Established excellent working relationships inside and outside the PH organization, with recognition from senior leaders of his technical capability.
  • Highly respected by all suppliers—local and foreign—who receive his inputs and implement them to improve their product.
