Job summary

SGS is seeking an EPM Solution Engineer to serve as a technical expert for Hyperion, Essbase and related EPM applications, driving development, stability and continuous improvement across the software lifecycle.

You will translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions, oversee metadata, calculation scripts, business rules and reports, and collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders and service providers on platform upgrades and ERP transformation projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Hyperion or related EPM products including Financial Planning and Budgeting, Enterprise Data Management & Essbase, Financial Consolidation and Closing, EPM Technical Architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with EPM development, including business rules, calculation scripts, metadata management and reporting.
Experience supporting, enhancing and maintaining enterprise EPM applications.
Oracle EPM Cloud experience is highly desirable.
Experience with EPM upgrades, migrations or transformation initiatives is desirable.
Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL) principles.
Ability to assess the impact of business requirements and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Oversee software development activity following SGS and market standards.
Validate technical designs & oversee the application development activity ensuring deliverables follow defined rules and guidelines.
Ensure that development estimates from partners are reasonable.
Maintain the SGS technical standards and quality across development activities.
Monitor 2nd or 3rd Level Support and coordinate with AM Teams and external partners for issue resolution.
Attend service meetings to discuss issues and improvement plans.
Manage and monitor issues with escalation procedures and implement improvement plans.
Maintain access and security configurations in line with auditors’ standards.
