Job summary

Wilmar Edible Oils Philippines, Inc. in Misamis Oriental is seeking a Safety and Pollution Control Officer to lead health, safety and environmental programs across operations.

You will develop and implement EHS policies, conduct risk assessments, supervise inspections, investigate accidents, and ensure regulatory compliance with DOLE and environmental permits. Collaboration with contractors and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• A license, and/or post-graduate course, is an advantage but not a requirement.
• DOLE accredited Safety Officer 3
• Experienced in hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety program implementation
• Three years of experience as a Safety and Pollution Control Assistant in a Manufacturing Industry or an equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Develops health and safety working programs and strategies.
• Inspect plants and processes to ensure safety practices.
• Investigates accidents and incidents and prepares reports.
• Monitors waste management, pollution control, and permit compliance.
• Supervises contractors and third-party services for environmental monitoring.
