Baldo Construction and Development Corporation in Quezon City seeks a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) to ensure environmental compliance on construction sites. You will lead permitting, reporting, and on-site controls to meet DENR-EMB and LGU requirements.

The role emphasizes managing permits, conducting audits, and coordinating with safety and project teams to minimize environmental impact while maintaining regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2–3 years relevant experience in environmental compliance or pollution control; background in building or warehouse construction projects is preferred.
• Valid 40-Hour Basic Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Training Certificate.
• PRC Civil Engineering License (preferred / conditional).
• Working knowledge of DENR-EMB regulations, permitting procedures, and reporting standards applicable to construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with Philippine environmental laws, including PTO, ECC/CNC, permits, and audits.
• Implement dust suppression, waste management, wastewater, and site inspections; monitor emissions, noise, and runoff.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports (SMR, waste reports) and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Advise project management on environmental risks and coordinate with Safety Officer to align environmental and safety standards.
