Job summary

GCash is looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead strategic technology transformations across the organization. The role focuses on creating an architectural blueprint and roadmaps that enable business goals while empowering development teams with policy-as-code governance.

You will apply deep systems thinking, data modeling, and enterprise data architecture to guide downstream engineering teams, ensuring scalable, flexible solutions across REST/microservices-based environments.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in engineering management or enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
• Strong systems thinking and data architecture expertise.

You’ll be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Drives enterprise-wide transformation by applying deep systems thinking to identify technology capabilities and craft high-level execution plans that directly align with overarching business goals.
• Defines and delivers the comprehensive architectural blueprint, technology roadmaps, and documentation of current and future‑state architectures across business, data, application, and technology domains, presenting these strategies in tailored views for diverse stakeholders.

QUALIFICATION:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of combined experience in engineering management, system and/or enterprise architecture, programming, and software design.
• Proven track record of designing, developing, and successfully implementing enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives.
• Deep expertise in systems thinking, with a modern approach to architecture that favors enablement, developer autonomy, and "policy-as-code" over rigid, traditional review boards. systems (e.g., REST, microservices, Java, Spring) and utilizing diverse programming and architectural design patterns to effectively guide and govern downstream engineering teams.
