Job summary

Ohmium seeks a Quality Assurance specialist to manage Contract Manufacturing QA for EMS, PCBA, and cable harness assemblies in our Negros facility. You’ll define supplier quality requirements and lead supplier audits, qualification, and corrective actions to ensure high-quality builds.

You will own FAI for PCBA, cable harness, and unit level builds, monitor key process parameters, and drive root cause analysis with established tools, while aligning with Lean and Six Sigma practices to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in PCBA/EMS/Cable Harness/Electronics Manufacturing Quality Assurance.
• Strong knowledge of SMT processes, PCB Assembly, and testing methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of cable harness build and verification methods.
• Experience with customer audits and certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle Contract Manufacturing QA for EMS, Cable harness and Unit assembly.
• Define supplier quality requirements for PCBs, PCBA, components and services.
• Conduct supplier audits, qualification, and performance reviews.
• Manage incoming quality issues and drive supplier corrective actions.
• Oversee quality control across SMT, THT, selective soldering, wave soldering, conformal coating, cable harness and final assembly.
• Own FAI for PCBA, Cable harness and unit level builds.
• Define and monitor critical process parameters and inspection checkpoints.
• Lead RCA using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA.
• Lead CAPA for internal and customer issues.
• Track and improve KPIs like FPY, DPPM, DOA, rework, scrap.
• Promote Lean, Six Sigma, and Poka‑Yoke initiatives.
• Manage customer complaints, returns, and audits with timely closure of actions.
• Get PPAP, FAIR, and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with shipment readiness and quality acceptance criteria.
• IPC‑A‑610 CIS / CIT certified is desired
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus
• Lead Auditor – ISO 9001 / IATF / AS9100 certification is preferred.
