Job summary

Analog Devices is seeking a Test Hardware Engineer (P2) to support manufacturing operations by diagnosing and repairing semiconductor test hardware, conducting qualifications, and driving improvements to equipment reliability. The role sits within the Test Hardware Engineering group and involves collaboration with technicians, engineers, and production teams to ensure quality and uptime.

The ideal candidate has a B.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics, Electrical, Computer or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits, components and systems.
  • Familiar with test equipment such as oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies and logic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of circuit analysis, troubleshooting and failure analysis methodologies.
  • Basic programming, automation, or data analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, test hardware, or product engineering is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, repair, qualification, maintenance, and continuous improvement of semiconductor test hardware.
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure hardware reliability and product quality.
  • Provide technical support through hardware failure analysis, root cause investigation and corrective action implementation.
  • Drive hardware improvement projects and contribute to operational excellence by reducing downtime.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or any related Engineering course.
  • Knowledge in Electrical and Electronic circuits, components, and systems.
  • Familiar with electronic test and measurement equipment such as Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter (DMM), Power Supplies, and Logic Analyzers.

Brief Job Description

The Test Hardware Engineer will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, repair, qualification, maintenance, and continuous improvement of semiconductor test hardware. The engineer will work under the Test Hardware Engineering group and collaborate with technicians, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure hardware reliability, product quality, and optimum equipment utilization. The Test Hardware Engineer provides technical support through hardware failure analysis, root cause investigation, corrective action implementation, and test hardware enhancement. The engineer is expected to drive hardware improvement projects, support qualification activities, develop test solutions, and contribute to operational excellence by reducing hardware-related downtime and improving manufacturing efficiency.

Export Licensing

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce – Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State – Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
