Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology seeks an IT infrastructure professional to guide and execute IT installations, integration, and ongoing maintenance. You will manage change requests and support operations across infrastructure devices and applications.

You will plan and execute infrastructure tests for functionality, speed, safety or security, and communicate with vendors to resolve IT problems. The role may include 2nd-level help desk activities and staff training.

Qualifications

• Guiding, ensuring, or performing IT installations, integration as well as operations, update, customizing and maintenance and change request processes.
• Planning amend/or executing regular system infrastructure tests, with respect to functionality, speed, safety or security.
• Communicating with vendors and service providers, identify operational IT problems and seek for resolution.
• May perform 2nd-level user help desk activities, and trains management and staff in the utilization of IT infrastructure.
• Creates informative reports to support changes or adaptations for processes and infrastructure systems.

Contributing to design and implementation, or planning and executing installation of infrastructure devices and/or applications. Ensuring or executing SAP instances, installation updates, release changes, etc..

Planning amend/or executing regular system infrastructure tests, with respect to functionality , speed, safety or security. Communicating with vendors and service providers, identify operational IT problems and seek for resolution. May perform 2nd-level user help desk activities, and trains management and staff in the utilization of IT infrastructure.

Contributes to projects or processes to improve functional efficiency and effectiveness. Takes over accomplishment of dedicated (local or function specific) workstream, as part of an overarching infrastructure project Provides local support and consultancy on dedicated subject matters or processes (e. g. , as 'System Owner', 'Process Owner'). Performs independent judgement on subjects of relevance for the process assigned.
