Job summary

Metrojet is seeking an Engineer I / Technician in the Philippines to perform and oversee aircraft maintenance and related engineering activities. The role requires a CAAP/FAA Part-66 license and a minimum of 3 years in the aviation industry, with knowledge of Bombardier, Gulfstream, Embraer and other major aircraft types.

You will ensure scheduled maintenance is completed on time, support crew, and maintain safety and quality standards, while keeping records and data up to date.

Qualifications

• Holder of a CAAP/FAA Part-66 license and relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least 3 years of aviation industry experience with knowledge of multiple aircraft types.
• Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods and industry standards.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee maintenance and engineering activities on aircraft and components.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance per program, standards and directives.
• Lead daily maintenance to minimize downtime and report activities to management.
• Coordinate approved unscheduled maintenance actions and provide recommendations.
• Ensure pre-flight inspections comply with procedures and safety requirements.
• Support crew with maintenance-related issues to ensure safety and reliability.
• Ensure Work Orders are completed and released according to regulations and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date aircraft data and references per authorities and OEM publications.
• Keep hangar and aircraft areas clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Engineer I / Technician

Job Purpose:

Perform and oversee maintenance and engineering activities on aircraft and/or components, within the company's regulatory approved capability and individual authorization.

• Ensure all approved scheduled maintenance is carried out on time according to the program, standards pre-defined and mandatory maintenance directives and requirements.
• Perform and oversee daily maintenance and engineering activities to ensure that all maintenance actions are performed per the standards and requirements approved by the Company and in an efficient and timely manner with minimum downtime; report the daily maintenance activities to the Maintenance Management and relevant Operations personnel as per the company requirements.
• Coordinate all approved unscheduled maintenance actions, provide recommendations to the maintenance personnel, to utilize allocated downtime in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure that pre-flight inspections are carried out in accordance with operators / company procedures and quality requirements to guarantee a high level of safety and quality in all flights.
• Ensure that crew members are provided with all the required support concerning maintenance related issues, to guarantee the safety and reliability of the aircraft.
• Ensure Work Orders are correctly completed and released to service in accordance with applicable regulations and operators / company procedures to maintain aircraft safety, effective record keeping and minimum downtime.
• Comply with company safety, quality and regulatory standards always and report deficiencies if any.
• Ensure all aircraft data and references are updated and approved as per Aviation Authorities / OEM latest technical publications.
• Maintain discipline and keep safety and quality as the top priority in the company.
• Always keep the aircraft and hangar clean and tidy to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance

Job Requirements

• Holder of a valid CAAP, FAA or a relevant Part-66 License, aircraft maintenance experience level is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in the aviation Industry with relevant aircraft type ratings in Bombardier/ Gulfstream/ Embraer/ Learjet/ Dassault Falcon / Boeing / Airbus aircraft products.
• Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment, and accepted industry standards.
• Proficient in both oral and written English.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Software
