Employee Relations Specialist
About the Role:

The Employee Relations Specialist ensures effective administration of employee relations processes by addressing workplace conflicts, grievances, and policy concerns in compliance with labor standards. The role provides supervisory-level oversight of ER activities, ensures proper case documentation, and coordinates with Human Capital leadership on escalations and resolutions. It drives policy communication, promotes workplace harmony, and supports retention improvements through data-driven insights. The position safeguards ER-related records and ensures alignment with organizational policies and statutory requirements.

The Compensation, Benefits Administration, and Timekeeping Section ensures that employees receive timely and accurate compensation while maintaining compliance with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies. It optimizes payroll and benefits administration by:

  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies in all compensation, benefits, and timekeeping practices.
  • Managing end-to-end processing of company benefits to provide timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Administering employee claims and payments to maintain efficiency and fairness in benefits processing.
  • Providing guidance on the availment of company-initiated benefits and government-mandated programs such as GSIS and PhilHealth.
  • Reviewing and validating payroll processes to ensure the accuracy of salary adjustments, paid time off, overtime, and other factors.
  • Maintaining integrity in the HRIS database by ensuring accurate employee records and timekeeping data.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in employee relations, case handling, policy administration, or HR compliance work.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, grievance handling procedures, and employee relations best practices.
  • At least 2 (two) years of working experience in Human Resource specializing in Organization Development.
