You will collaborate with product managers and engineers, own features from design to deployment, write tests, and help improve scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance. This is a remote-friendly, fast-paced role with a strong emphasis on continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proficient with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems; functional programming principles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Own features from conception to launch, with technical specs and clean code.
• Ensure quality through unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Keep up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem and best practices.
