Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a focused Maintenance Technician to support daily and preventive maintenance of production equipment. You will set up machines, perform changes, conduct qualification, and log repair activities to improve uptime.

You will work with test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters, follow SOPs, uphold 5S, and contribute to continuous improvement. Strong written communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering Technology with Electronics or Electromechanical focus.
• Basic understanding of electronic circuits and test methodologies.
• Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal analyzers) is a plus.
• Strong technical writing and problem solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Executes daily and weekly maintenance activities, such as machine setup, changeover, conversion, and qualification (LM).
• Executes preventive maintenance activities (PM).
• Executes tooling maintenance and preventive maintenance of tooling and dies (TND).
• Internal fabrication (TND).
• Implements corrective actions to quality and machine performance issues and provide feedback.
• Performs repairs and maintenance on equipment including preventive/predictive maintenance activities.
• Maintains 5S in all areas.
• Provides technical support to the production line.
• Logs all repair activities for all machines.
• Provides technical information to maintenance-related problems in production.
• Follows SOPs and safety protocols.
• Performs tools upkeep.
• Reports issues affecting machine uptime and product quality.
• Implements ideas for continuous improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
