The Electronics and Communications Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical designs, drawings, and cost estimates for electronic and communication systems. The role requires strong knowledge of CAD and the ability to support project requirements from design preparation through costing.
Prepare and develop electronic and communication system designs and layouts based on project requirements.
Prepare and review technical drawings using AutoCAD/CAD software.
Conduct quantity take-offs, material estimates, and cost estimates for project requirements.
Review plans, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and other stakeholders regarding design and costing requirements.
Assist in preparing BOQs, material lists, and cost proposals.
Review and revise drawings based on project changes and technical requirements.
Ensure that designs, estimates, and documentation are accurate and properly maintained.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in electronic/communication system design, costing, estimation, or related engineering work.
Proficient in AutoCAD/CAD software and able to prepare technical drawings.
Knowledge of quantity take-off, costing, and material estimation.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Willing to work on project-based assignments and meet project deadlines.
