Job summary

GMA Network seeks an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to handle preventive and corrective maintenance of generators and power conditioning equipment at regional transmitter sites. You will coordinate with electric cooperatives for power restoration and ensure safe, reliable operation.

The candidate should have a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and knowledge of high/low voltage systems, safety practices, and voltages.

Position Purpose Statement

Preventive/corrective maintenance of generators, various power conditioning equipment, air conditioning units, and electrical systems installed in regional transmitter sites;

Coordinate with different electric cooperatives serving our transmitter stations for power line restoration, scheduled brown-outs, maintenance, etc.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering;
• With at least 2 years experience in the operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment) Computer literate is an advantage;
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• With knowledge of electrical circuits, applicable tools and equipment of the trade, industrial safety practices and procedures, high voltage electrical systems, low and high voltage test equipment, UPS and DC systems, electro-hydraulic and electric-mechanical systems, maintenance and alignment practices, electrical theory and work zone safety principles;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Skills in installing, maintaining replacing, troubleshooting, and repairing electromechanical equipment.
