Qualifications

• Technical or vocational certification preferred.
• Valid electrician license as required by regulations.
• Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, equipment, and components using testing tools and equipment.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Maintain and update records of repairs and maintenance work.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, or other professionals on projects as needed.
