Responsibilities and Duties

• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
• Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform telephone landline troubleshooting as applicable.
• Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems and diagnose faults in electronic equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper safety precautions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High/Senior High School degree; further certifications in electrical and/or electronics or mechanics are preferred.
