Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and implement electrical systems. You will use CAD software to create schematics, develop SLDs, perform calculations, and prepare documentation.

The role requires on-site supervision, compliance with NEC/IEEE/IEC/NFPA standards, and collaboration with project managers, clients, technicians, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
• 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, design, or field operations
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, MATLAB, ETAP, SPICE or PLC programming tools
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, circuit design and signal processing

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems, circuits, schematics, and components using CAD software
• Perform complex calculations to establish specifications for manufacturing, construction, and operations
• Develop SLDs, layout drawings, and system architecture plans
• Prepare test procedures, run simulations, and test prototype equipment
• Analyze data and troubleshoot faults or interference
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, IEEE, IEC, NFPA
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance
• Collaborate with managers, clients, technicians, and contractors
• Prepare project cost estimates, material schedules, and technical docs
• Evaluate existing installations and recommend upgrades
