Purpose of the Position

• Ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems and equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects.

Principal Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues, and replace faulty components. This includes using technologies like condition monitoring and data analytics to diagnose problems.
• Safety and compliance: Ensure all electrical work adheres to company rules, safety standards, and quality regulations. This includes identifying and addressing unsafe acts.
• Project management: Lead modification projects to improve reliability and productivity, and support sustainability projects. They may also assist in the installation of new machinery.
• System improvement: Continuously improve the preventive maintenance system to minimize downtime and costs. They also monitor maintenance activities and recommend improvements.
• Technical expertise: Provide technical support for troubleshooting failures and repairs. This involves understanding blueprints, charts, and repair manuals, and providing engineering input for repair details.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records of all equipment documentation and maintenance reports. They report breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, maintenance planners, and supervisors. They also collaborate with other cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
