Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets.
• Track project expenses and identify any variations to the original budget.
• Help in procuring materials, contractors, and services.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders and quotations for contracts.
• Assist in managing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in the preparation of contracts and agreements.
• Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Maintain proper documentation for contracts, bills, and variations.
• Track project costs and prepare regular reports for the senior team.
• Assist in providing financial forecasting and recommendations to ensure project profitability.
• Help identify and resolve any financial discrepancies.
• Attend site meetings and conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and costs.
• Conduct assessments to ensure that materials and work are in line with project specifications.
• Support senior surveyors in preparing site valuations and measuring works.

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
