Job Description

The Electrical Inspector is responsible for inspecting electrical installations, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. This role involves conducting visual inspections, testing electrical systems and components, identifying any faults or non-compliances, and providing recommendations for corrective actions to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge in Quality System Standards, Oil & Gas Experience (Min 4 years)
• Minimum of 04 years of experience in electrical inspection, including knowledge of electrical installation codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• In-depth understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, grounding, and overcurrent protection.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment (e.g., insulation resistance testers, multimeters, voltage testers).
• Familiarity with electrical design and schematic drawings and the ability to interpret them accurately.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Good problem-solving skills to identify faults and suggest corrective actions.
• Ability to conduct thorough and accurate inspections, documenting all findings clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify electrical hazards or non-compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to report findings and collaborate with engineers and contractors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
