The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works. He/She ensures that all electrical activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, schedules, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead electrical technicians and electricians on-site
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily electrical work activities
- Ensure electrical installations comply with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications
- Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and schematics
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other trades
- Monitor work progress and ensure deadlines are met
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Enforce safety procedures and toolbox meetings
- Prepare daily reports, manpower and material requirements
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and safekeeping of tools and equipment
Qualifications
- Graduate of Electrical Technology, Vocational Course, or related field
- Licensed Electrician (advantage)
- At least 3–5 years of experience in electrical works, with supervisory exposure
- Knowledgeable in electrical codes and safety standards
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
