Job summary

AWG ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN in Metro Manila seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for diverse projects. You will create schematics, perform load calculations, oversee installations, and ensure compliance with safety standards and codes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a PE license being optional, and is proficient in AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, and PSpice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE license optional
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, PSpice
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety codes (e.g., NEC, IEC)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with project management and cross-functional teamwork
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for commercial, industrial, or residential use
• Create technical drawings, specifications, and system layouts
• Perform electrical load calculations and ensure systems meet applicable codes and standards
• Oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate systems into broader projects
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed systems
