Evercon Builders and Equipment Corporation seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electrical systems for projects in the field. You will prepare drawings and documents using AutoCAD or MATLAB and ensure compliance with safety standards.
The role requires 3+ years of experience, a PE registration, and strong teamwork skills to coordinate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams. Travel to project sites will be required.
Design, develop, and test electrical systems, components, and equipment.
Create technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using software tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar.
Perform system calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with design requirements and safety standards.
Conduct troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and improvements for existing electrical systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams.
Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems at project sites.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and reliability.
Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
Maintain detailed project reports, design documents, and testing records.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Registered Electrical Engineer
Proven experience in electrical system design and project implementation (e.g., 3+ years).
Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar).
Strong understanding of circuit design, power systems, and control systems.
Familiarity with safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, NEC, IEC).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Safety officer.
Experience in various airport electrical systems.
Experience with PLC programming, control systems, communication or automation systems.
Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering.
Ability to work on-site in industrial or construction environments and under the sun when needed.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
