Job summary

Therma Marine, Inc. in Cebu, Philippines is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance and testing of electrical equipment in the plant, ensuring safe, reliable and economical operation.

You will work with the Maintenance team to apply established procedures, comply with safety standards, and support the Generating units and related systems, while developing your skills in a purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational degree (3 year) in Electrical Technology.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a power plant or heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs electrical instruments, equipment and fixtures in the plant in compliance with codes and standards.
• Diagnoses electrical malfunctions using test equipment and troubleshoots problems.
• Studies electrical plans and specifications for correct installation and repairs.
• Conducts preventive and predictive maintenance on identified plant equipment.

As Electrical Technician, you will responsible for the proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance and testing of all electrical equipment in the plant following established work procedures as well as equipment, safety and environmental standards to ensure safe reliable and economical maintenance and operation of generating units, related auxiliaries and balance of plant, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Installs, maintains and repairs electrical instruments, equipment and fixtures: power plant electrical circuits, motors, generators, transformers, lights, appliances, breakers, protective relays and switch gears in compliance with electrical codes, standards or regulations.
• Diagnoses electrical malfunctions using electrical test equipment and tools to determine the cause of the malfunction. Trouble shoots to correct the problem or recommends appropriate corrective action.
• Studies electrical plans and specifications to determine correct installation and/or repairs.
• Conducts preventive and predictive maintenance activities on identified plant equipment.
