Local Leads Ventures Limited seeks a credentialed Early Childhood Tutor for a private household placement in Singapore. This role focuses on care, foundational tutoring, and development under MOM guidelines, integrated into the family’s daily routines.
The ideal candidate holds a verifiable diploma in Early Childhood Education or Montessori, and will pass rigorous screening. Live-in accommodations are provided with a formal, long‑term placement goal.
Great childcare begins with fit. Your child's temperament matters. Your routines matter. Your parenting values matter. Your home environment matters. That is why The Prepared House takes time to understand the child, the family, and the kind of live-in childcare support that will feel sustainable at home. The goal is not to place someone quickly. The goal is to place someone meaningfully.
On behalf of Local Leads Ventures Limited, we are seeking a credentialed, highly intentional Early Childhood Tutor for a private household placement in Singapore.
Unlike a general domestic helper role, this position is strictly designed for an early childhood professional. Placed legally under Singapore's Migrant Domestic Worker (MDW) permit framework, our specialists focus their energy entirely on care-related domestic work, foundational tutoring, and development as defined by MOM. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate into the family’s daily routines, providing an educationally stimulating environment where the children can thrive.
Holistic Childcare & Routines: Manage the children's daily schedules, morning and bedtime routines, and personal hygiene with a deep respect for the family's established household values.
Early Childhood Tutoring & Development: Implement age-appropriate, structured learning activities. Cultivate foundational skills in reading, writing, and early mathematics, utilizing specialized methodologies (Montessori or private primary school approaches) to maximize cognitive and social development.
Nutritious Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare balanced, healthy meals and snacks tailored specifically to the children's nutritional needs and dietary preferences.
Environment & Engagement: Design a safe, orderly, and highly engaging home environment that prioritizes meaningful, hands-on play, arts, and cognitive exercises while minimizing screen time.
Professional Partnership: Maintain clear, professional, and autonomous communication with the family, tracking developmental milestones and adjusting support as the children grow.
Verifiable Educational Credentials: Must hold a formal, verifiable diploma in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Nursing, or Montessori methodology-practical experience alone is insufficient.
Vetting Compliance: Candidates must successfully pass our rigorous screening process, which includes thorough background verification and evaluation against a structured soft-skills rubric. (Credentials will be open to verification by the family).
Legal & Framework Requirements: Must meet all standard requirements for a Ministry of Manpower (MOM) compliant placement under the standard MDW framework.
Core Competencies: Exceptional patience, polished communication skills, strong meal-planning capabilities for children, and a firm understanding of live-in professional boundaries.
Mindset: A results-driven, zero-drama professional who thrives on autonomy, consistency, and building a sustainable, long-term relationship with a family.
Competitive Compensation: A starting salary of 1,500 SGD++ per month, with room to discuss upward adjustments based on specific credentials and depth of experience.
Premium Accommodations: Secure, comfortable, and private live-in accommodations provided within the Singapore residence.
A Sustainable Placement: A structured hiring process focused entirely on mutual compatibility, clear boundaries, and long-term professional respect.
