Job Description: Transportation and delivery driver with responsibilities including safe driving, on-time delivery, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with records and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Transportation and Delivery: Pick up, transport, and deliver goods or packages on time.
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes.
• Ensure proper handling of items to prevent damage.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections (brakes, oil, tires) to ensure safety.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
• Handle minor delivery issues and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Recordkeeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel expenses.
• Follow traffic laws and company policies for safe driving.
