Job Description
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods, passengers, or equipment to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. The role requires ensuring that the vehicle is well-maintained, following all traffic laws, and providing exceptional service to clients or employers.
- Valid Driver’s License:
- Must possess a current, valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated (e.g., CDL for trucks or a regular driver's license for passenger vehicles).
- Clean Driving Record:
- A clean driving history with no major violations or accidents in recent years. A background check may be required to verify this.
- Experience:
- Prior experience as a driver is often preferred, especially in the relevant type of driving (e.g., delivery, transportation, or long-distance driving).
- Knowledge of Traffic Laws:
- Familiarity with local, state, and national traffic laws to ensure safe and legal operation of the vehicle.
