- The Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations in a timely manner. They ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, comply with traffic laws, and follow company protocols for loading, unloading, and securing cargo.
- Safely drive assigned vehicle to designated locations, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload goods or materials, ensuring they are securely fastened and properly handled.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers about delivery status or changes.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed while driving and during the loading/unloading process.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance (e.g., oil changes, tire checks) or coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
- Handle any unexpected issues, such as traffic delays or vehicle malfunctions, with professionalism and efficiency.
- Follow company guidelines for safe and efficient route planning.
