Job summary

Robinsons Handyman Inc in Metro Manila is seeking a Distribution Center Assistant to support daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods under supervision. You will ensure accurate inventory movement, maintain safety and order, and use JDA and INFOR for stock updates and reporting.

The role involves supervising receivers, monitoring item flow, and maintaining documentation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in retail.
• Knowledge of inventory handling procedures and warehouse equipment; basic computer skills.
• Physically fit with strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
• Willing to work shifting schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving operations including vendor coordination and ASN creation/verification.
• Verify delivery documents (PO, SI, DR) and endorse to Accounts Payable.
• Supervise receivers/checkers; manage docking assignments and documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in receiving and marshalling areas.
• Monitor item movement (CIDs); ensure proper scanning and FIFO compliance.
• Inspect item condition and transfer to designated locations.
• Process inventory allocations in JDA and support timely picking.
• Report damaged or expired items and update the system.
• Generate and monitor INFOR inventory and picking reports.

Job description

The Distribution Center Assistant supports daily warehouse operations such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. Reporting to the Distribution Center Supervisor, the role ensures accurate and timely inventory movement while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle receiving operations, including vendor coordination, TMS approvals, and ASN creation/verification

• Verify delivery documents (PO, SI, DR) and ensure accurate receiving and endorsement to Accounts Payable

• Supervise receivers/checkers, manage docking assignments, and ensure proper documentation of transactions

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in receiving and marshalling areas

• Monitor item movement (CIDs), ensure proper scanning, and enforce FIFO guidelines

• Inspect item condition and ensure correct transfer to designated locations

• Process inventory allocations in JDA and support accurate, timely picking activities

• Report damaged or expired items and ensure proper stock handling and system updates

• Generate and monitor reports (INFOR) for inventory and picking status

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related course (advantage) with at least 1 year of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in retail.

• Knowledge of inventory handling procedures, warehouse equipment, and basic computer skills; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.

• Physically fit with strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.

• A team player with good communication and time management skills; willing to work shifting schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangement

• Monday to Friday (Shifting Schedule)

• Located in Lopez Jaena St. Brgy. Jesus Dela Peña, Manila Bay Spinning Mills, Marikina City.
