Job summary

Spell Restaurant Group's LaCo restaurant is hiring a dishwasher to support food and beverage operations. The role focuses on keeping dishware and surfaces clean, organizing stations, and ensuring sanitation throughout shifts.

The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. Training and cross-training opportunities are available to support team growth.

Qualifications

• Prior food preparation experience in a scratch kitchen preferred.
• Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes.
• Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Can obtain any necessary food handling permits or licenses.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize duties.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and bend, climb or work in confined spaces.
• Ability to properly lift 25-50 lbs.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes.
• Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster.
• Set up/break down dishwashing area.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep/mop floors.
• Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
• Implement storage and rotation of food and supplies.
