Job summary

IRINE FOOD HOUSE is seeking a diligent kitchen helper to support our busy restaurant operations. The role focuses on dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining a sanitary work area, with occasional basic food prep tasks as required.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen, able to stand for long periods, and physically capable of lifting and bending as needed. Prior kitchen or food-service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate loads.
• Familiar with sanitation procedures and health codes.
• Willing to perform basic food prep tasks when required.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing & Cleaning: wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and utensils; ensure items are sanitized and properly stored.
• Kitchen Maintenance: keep the dishwashing area and kitchen clean and organized; wipe counters and clean sinks, floors, and walls.
• Assist with Food Prep: help with basic vegetable peeling or chopping when needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and bending.

• Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the dishwashing area and kitchen clean and organized, including wiping down counters and cleaning sinks, floors, and walls.
