We are hiring for a Director for Audit for a client located in Ortigas Pasig City.

This is an onsite work and follows a regular Mon to Fri Schedule

Salary pays up to 250K package based on experience

Min requirement is 8 years of external audit experience ideally coming from top audit companies and with experience dealing with local government bodies/entities

The Opportunity

• The Director of Audit is responsible for leading and managing the audit function for a company that audits external 3rd party companies.
• The role includes developing and implementing audit plans, conducting audits, and reporting on audit findings.
• The Head of Auditing must have a strong understanding of auditing principles and practices, as well as the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement audit plans that align with the organization's business plans and core objectives
• Manage and motivate the audit team ensuring all workloads are managed to expected results
• Conduct transaction based audits on external 3rd party companies ensuring we assess financial statements, operations, and compliance with policies and procedures
• Monitor 3rd party data and identify investigate and flag variances
• Identify and report on risks and control weaknesses
• Work closely with the IT team to coordinate the auditing of websites, products, systems and technical setup of 3rd party companies
• Develop and suggest corrective action plans to 3rd parties and government departments
• Represent auditing function and company within meetings with 3rd party companies and government departments
• Stay up-to-date on auditing standards and best practices
• Any other relevant task as assigned by management

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification
• Preferably with 8+ years of experience in auditing external companies in the top auditing firms in the Philippines
• Strong understanding of auditing principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Experience of the online gambling industry is not necessary, but is highly advantageous
• Competent and confident in written and spoken English and Tagalog
