Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, professional service.
• Take and process customer orders accurately.
• Receive cash, credit/debit card, and other forms of payment.
• Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Issue receipts and provide correct change to customers.
• Balance the cash drawer and report any discrepancies.
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding orders, prices, and payments.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure accurate orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
• Follow company policies, food-service standards, and cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with other restaurant duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
