Job summary

Blackfort is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with Kafka expertise in the Philippines. The role focuses on monitoring, deployment, and automation to ensure high platform reliability and performance across environments.

You will develop CI/CD pipelines, automate operational tasks with IaC, and support production releases while collaborating with a growing client-focused team. This position is based in Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental, Philippines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software development or integration experience.
• 2+ years of Kafka development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Python, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and cloud-native development practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Kafka platform health and application performance.
• Perform incident analysis and resolution under senior engineer guidance.
• Execute deployment, configuration, and maintenance activities.
• Support production releases and environment management.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for Kafka platform and application deployments.
• Automate operational activities using Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
